Yes, it is possible.
This is because each people wanted to put their own character within the apple cider.
For example, in Great Britain, cider is particularly alcoholic and dry, while in Spain a sweeter, fruitier drink is preferred.
Of course, as in any recipe, all ingredients have their importance and the mixing of the same, based on even a few grams of difference, can still lead to different products.
Therefore, we need to point out that each time we proceed to make the homemade apple cider you will always get different results because there are so many variables.
However, we can provide a reference methodology which is based on the same raw materials.
Basically what we can control is our practice, and in doing so we are going to replicate the process the same every time.

Simple Recipe for Making Homemade Apple Cider
For make apple cider at home Let’s start with a standard dose: 2 kilograms of apples.
It will be sufficient to prepare a apple puree, using a blender or grating the fruit or even using a small centrifuge.
It is worth pointing out that you could also use a apple juice pre-packaged organic, but we strongly advise against this if you want to achieve a High-quality cider. At this point it will become necessary to go and add a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice and one loaf or sachet of brewer’s yeast.
Mix the mixture well until it becomes completely homogeneous, and then add approx. 250 grams of brown sugar and return to mixing by having the sugar incorporated into the dough as well.
There is to be noted that many people prefer to add a greater amount of sugar, and indeed it can be an interesting variation, but we strongly advise against deviating too far from the suggested amount.
At this point you will need to add about 250 ml of water And resume stirring for a long time.
Once this process is completed we will go on to obtain our starting base for apple cider!
All we will need to do is decant it into a small glass bottle that will need to be sealed with a bubbler, so that the fermentation take place in a proper manner.
This fermentation phase has a duration of around 15 days.
During all this time we need to shake the bottle at least once a day and make sure that the mixture is never exposed to humidity and temperatures exceeding 20°.
Once the 15-day routine has passed, our apple cider is ready! One will only have to strain it and then we could move on to tasting!
Our Favorite Apple Cider Recipe in the Kitchen
Cream of Leek and Cauliflower with Cider
Ingredients for 4 people
- 8 leeks,
- 1 cauliflower,
- 3 tablespoons of cooking cream,
- 40 g butter,
- 100 g Parmesan cheese,
- salt and white pepper.
Preparation recipe with apple cider
Wash and clean the leeks.
Once cleaned cut them into rounds.
Saute the leeks in butter and add the washed and chopped cauliflower.
Turn up the heat and add the cider.
After stirring for a few minutes, pour in 6 ladles of water and the cream.
Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Once cooked whisk until thick, add 2/3 of grated parmiagiano salt and pepper and whisk again.
Sprinkle with the remaining grated Parmesan cheese and bake over a hot heat with the grill on to get a crispy browning.
